	26th January, 2010 Well, I for one never thought it would actually happen. But we're two days from lift-off! I'm both excited and terrified at the thought of performing a very 'tell-it-as-it-is' show at one of Sydney's finest real 'cabaret' venues. To say that I'm putting my house and my career on the line would be understating things! But it's shaping up to be a really great evening. Please do come if you can! I'd love to see your face in the audience and to be really frank, I'd love to not lose the house..... In advance, I'd like to thank everyone who has helped bring my vision to life. Some of you will be there on Thursday at Slide in Darlinghurst and I'll thank you personally. To those that can't be there because of the crazy way we work.... "Thank you!". 	10th January, 2010 My God! 2010 already! The Christmas/New Year trip on Dawn Princess was a riot! A slight hiccup with a bout of laryngitis, but all's well that ends well! Tomorrow I'm off on a jet to Bali to join the gorgeous Pacific Sun for a trip around some of the Indonesian ports, before returning to Fremantle, via Broome. Can't wait. Then it's just one week of frantic rehearsal, blocking, marketing and preparation for the big night at Slide where I run out the 'Grown-Ups' show for the first time. It's exciting and terrifying all at the same time. I hope you have all had a peaceful transition into the new year and that 2010 brings you everything you hope for! 22nd December, 2009 The build-up to Christmas this year has been wonderful. Lots of great shows and catching up with friends old and new. Ticket sales for the new show at Slide are going well and I'm hard at work learning all those new songs! There's a LOT to cram in! Tomorrow I'll be off again to join the wonderful Dawn Princess for the Christmas and New Year period. I'm so looking forward to spending the festive season with everyone onboard. I'd like to take this opportunity to thank everyone for their unfailing support and good wishes throughout 2009. It was a year that certainly brought both challenges and blessings! 	16th November, 2009 I'm part-way through a wonderful trip on Dawn Princess and at home for a few hours, waiting to collect my wonderful Dad from the airport. He'll be spending a few days with me onboard Dawn Princess as we cruise round to Adelaide. I'm thrilled that tickets for the show at SLIDE in January are now available through Ticketek (just click the logo to be taken to the right page) and am looking forward to a raucous and ribald evening among friends old and new. It's great to be back home, even if it is only for a couple of hours! Huge thanks to my good buddy and drinking-mate, Weileong for keeping the plants alive and the mail stacked! 29th October, 2009 The trip up to Rabaul on Dawn Princess was great! And such a bonus to discover that the talented and dizzy Davidia was on the same trip. We had a ball. We were lucky enough to get a day and night 'layover' in Rabaul before flying home. I can only take my hat off to the residents of this amazing town. Torn apart by a double volcano blast 15 years ago and still being covered in ash 24 hours a day. Amazing! The launch for the Duchenne Foundation at Darling Harbour went really well. It was an honour to be asked to MC the event. My heartfelt thanks go to all involved in making this a terrific event! 15th October, 2009 Tomorrow I'm off again on the wonderful Dawn Princess. From Sydney to Brisbane, then up to Rabaul to have another look at that amazing volcano! I fly back to Sydney on Friday. Speaking of flying, it seems that some airlines' official policy to discovering they have an experienced, prolific and very expert thief working within their baggage system seems to be simple avoidance of the issue. I had a similar occurance a few months ago and now I've just lost the last of my nice things, taken from various hiding places in my luggage between check-in and exit carousel. Before you travel - think carefully. I'll keep you up to date on whether or not they finally accept that they do indeed have a duty of care once they've accepted money to transport us and our belongings.... 8th October, 2009 Well the trip from Dubai to Mumbai on Dawn Princess was a total blast. Thank you so much to everyone onboard for making it a trip to remember. I treated myself to a few days off once I got to India and managed to catch up with some great, old friends and to make some new ones. The trip to the Taj Mahal was a complete 'once-in-a-lifetime' event and is a memory I shall cherish. It's a truly breath-taking sight. For the next few days I'll be at home, working on the new show for 'Slide' on Oxford Street. It's due for a premier performance on January 28th. It'll be VERY different from anything I've done before and I'm really enjoying working with the very talented Jye Bryant on the music. I'll keep you posted. 18th September, 2009 I'm off on the gorgeous Dawn Princess from September 21st for a few days. I'm disembarking in Mumbai, so will have a few days is beautiful India again. This time I'll get to see the Taj Mahal - I'm so excited. Again, huge thanks to everyone at Grayboy for the continuing cruise bookings.! There's a new and very differnt show coming in January, at the moment just for one night..... call back for more news on that soon.
