English by birth, Simon Gillespie arrived in Australia in November of ’96, having enjoyed over 15 years working as an actor,

Simon is proud to have been asked to perform for Royalty on numerous occasions.
Since graduating from training alongside such stars as Michael Ball at the Guildford School of Acting (GSA Conservatoire), one of England's most respected and successful
theatre training establishments, Simon has conscientiously worked towards gaining as varied a resume as possible.
Cabaret has been a constant feature in Simon’s career and he now enjoys enormous popularity as a solo performer
internationally. Simon’s delivery is deliberately ‘tongue-in-cheek’, resulting in set which is the perfect mixture of music, comedy and
startlingly moving observation. Simon is currently dividing his time between a busy international
cruise ship schedule, the major club circuit in
Australia, corporate events, films and production work on cabaret, events and films.
Simon’s wealth of experience has resulted in a strong sense of theatricality
and presentational value, which he brings to each performance. A much nominated artist for both Mo and ACE
awards in Australia, Simon is
absolutely one of the best artistes currently working.
